SERVICES OFFERED BY DR. CHRISTINE (CITRINI) WARE
Christine J. Ware is a licensed psychologist. She is an alumna of Swarthmore College, and received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from DePaul University in 2004, where she specialized in child, adolescent, and family therapy. She has worked with a broad range of presenting concerns, populations, and age ranges in outpatient, partial, and inpatient settings. Prior to her current practice, Dr. Ware worked as a staff psychologist at the Villanova University Counseling Center. She completed her internship in Clinical Psychology at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center. Additional clinical experiences include the A.I. duPont Hospital for Children, the Family Health Psychology Center, the University of Illinois at Chicago Counseling Center, the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, and the DePaul Community Mental Health Center. Dr. Ware has strong interests in the connections between mind-body-spirit, in the promotion of well-being, in stress-related concerns, and in alternative and complementary approaches to healing. She welcomes clients interested in integrating psychotherapy with their yoga or meditation practices. She has undergone training in using meditation techniques and principles of Buddhist psychology in psychotherapy. She is pursuing postgraduate training in Gestalt therapy. Her long-standing interests in Eastern perspectives on mental health have been evident throughout her professional career, studies, training, and dissertation research.

Christine Ware is known as Citrinī in yoga circles, a Sanskrit name that means “bright.” She is certified in Kali Ray TriYoga Basics through Level 3. She is an Experienced-Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT) with the Yoga Alliance at the 200-hour level and a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with the Yoga Alliance at the 500-hour level. She is also a LifeForce Yoga Practitioner, trained in using yoga to help alleviate depression, anxiety, and bring balance to emotions. She has been teaching TriYoga since 1999, and has taught in Philadelphia, Conshohocken, Swarthmore, and Chicago. She has been continuously drawn to TriYoga because of the grace, beauty, strength, and meditative qualities of the Flows. She deeply loves sharing TriYoga, watching the transformation that the practice engenders, and helping others uncover their connection to the Universal.
